Born in the Upstate, an alumni of Life experiences.  In 1987, I began my insurance career in the P&C world, in Northern Virginia.  I worked for several years in the Personal Lines arena, helping individuals.  I  then moved to the Commercial Insurance world, which allowed me to help businesses with their insurance needs like Commercial Liability and Workers Compensation.    After 15 years, I left insurance to operator our  HVAC business with my husband.  This gave me hands on experience with the challenges of managing a business with budgets and the needs of employees.   I definitely got direct exposure on how different the perceptions are between employer expenses and what an employee thinks they are receiving in employee benefits.

I returned to the Upstate in 2004 and  after running my own business for several years,  I came back  to the Insurance industry in 2011 to develop my own business choosing the Life & Health division.  Utilizing my experience in Customer Service as well as the experience of owners businesses,  I growing relationship with companies and helped owners develop benefits to attract and retain employees.  For several years, I maintained business relationships using just one National Carrier.    As the market changed, in 2019 I joined C & K Benefits to able to meet businessowner’s/employee’s needs rather than being limited to what just one carrier can provide.   This has brought my back to what I loved  so many years ago.  Providing the best for my  clients, focusing on their needs and not limited to what one carrier provides.

    This has definitely renewed my passion to help businesses and employees during not only these challenging times, but always.
